"Excellent value 12€ set price meal and delicious home cooked, traditional Galician dishes. Virtually the only surviving menu for that price in the whole of the Province of Ourense. House red or white wine is good too although I prefer to order the excellent & award winning, Mónica del Albor red. The bedrooms above are clean and tidy and also amazing value for money. A single room is only 12 euros in the low season ! It's close to Old Town so is well located in relation to local services and facilities. Manolo, Carlos & his team of cooks are the best!"

"What a great experience! An old school bar/restaurant in Spain. The octopus, eel, and meat. All to die for. Extremely friendly staff and with exceptional prices. I only give 5 stars because I can't give 10. Thanks so much! * I forgot to write about the peppers and the house white wine."

"Local restaurant. Very friendly. Felt very at home. Great local dishes. We had menu of the day to share. Russian salad, tender chicken & chips & bread & wine & coffee. Met a great local guy with his mum, he spoke good English, and helped us with the menu. And great conversation. The owner is so friendly a lovely experience. Thank you."
